Personal informationSergiy Kohan started his scientific career when he was a student of Mechanics and Mathematics Department, Sumy State University. At that time he studied influence of colored noise on evolution of stochastic system. He graduated from the University in 2002, speciality - complex system simulation, and started his post-graduate course. He defended his PhD thesis in 2006, speciality - 01.04.02, theoretical physics, and since that time he has been working at the Institute of Applied Physics NAS of Ukraine as a senior research worker of Laboratory of Microstructure Studies of Reactor Materials. According to the Statute of the NAS of Ukraine, the right to nominate candidates for the position of director of a scientific institution has: the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine, the Bureau of the relevant branch of the NAS of Ukraine, members of the NAS of Ukraine, the Academic Council of the institution. A candidate for the position of director of a state scientific institution must be fluent in the state language, have a doctorate or doctor of philosophy and work experience as a researcher and (or) research and teaching staff of at least 10 years.
